The Top Issues in Employment & Severance Agreements for Executives - Workshop, May 14

While compensation may seem like the biggest issue in both Employment and Severance Agreements, protecting your future career means looking beyond the dollars and cents and analyzing the details.  This presentation highlights the top ten concerns that are less obvious but often cause the biggest headaches down the line.

Regardless of whether you believe your agreement is negotiable, knowing your rights and obligations ensures you are prepared for the hurdles that lie ahead.

About the Presenter
Kristen Prinz, The Prinz Law Firm, has represented executives from public and private corporations, including Bank of America, Walgreen, Zurich North America, and others in matters ranging from negotiations of employment contracts and separation agreements to employment discrimination or retaliation litigations.  She has reviewed, drafted and negotiated employment agreements, non-compete agreements, non-solicitation agreements, retention agreements, consulting agreements and change-in-control agreements.

Ms Prinz has represented clients before federal, state, and local agencies and tribunals in contract disputes, discrimination claims, Sarbanes-Oxley Whistleblower claims, shareholder disputes, and employment and business-related claims in both state and federal court. She is experienced practicing before the Illinois Department of Human Rights, the Cook County Human Rights Commission, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, FINRA, and state and federal court.

Ms. Prinz serves on the Advisory Board for Kurtis USA, LLC and recently served on the One Community Sub-Committee for the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago Kent School of Law Strategic Planning Committee.
