Wise Women Plan! We’re smart enough, so why do most of us lack an estate plan?

Sources estimate that approximately 70% of us have not formalized our estate planning.  This Small Talks Series event is for anyone who wants to spare her loved ones an amazing, complicated mess after that inevitable moment.  Without a legally recognized declaration of your wishes, your loved ones will need to sort out your affairs and may face the inheritance rules dictated by the intestacy laws of the state of Illinois.  This program is for all UCWBG members and guests regardless of perceived “wealth” and family status.

Join a small group of your fellow UCWBG members to chat about how to go about this very important task.  We will have an expert in Trusts and Estate Planning Law ready to answer questions as well as to share some practical tools and tips you can use to begin your estate planning adventure.

Register early.  Our space is limited to 16 registrants.
Fee includes a buffet of hors d'oeuvres.

Our Moderator will be Susan D. Snyder, Trust Counsel and Assistant General Counsel , Northern Trust Corporation.

6:00 PM - 6:15 PM: Buffet Hors D'oeuvres and Networking
6:15 PM - 8:00 PM: Program begins
