We are proud to lead this year’s luncheon, “Local Women. Global Impact.,” because we believe passionately in the YWCA’s mission of eliminating racism and empowering women and the collective impact we can have for women and girls globally.
As you know, far too many women today face difficult challenges to employment, inadequate child care options, lack of real economic opportunities and emotional trauma caused by violence. YWCA Metropolitan Chicago offers effective and comprehensive programs that provide women with the tools and support needed to triumph over these obstacles and make valuable contributions to society. Touching the lives of more than 150,000 women and children annually, the YWCA is not only changing the lives of individuals, we are transforming our entire community.
This luncheon – attended by representatives from the corporate, private and social service sectors – offers a wonderful chance to recognize our remarkable honorees while supporting all women in our region. We are off to a terrific start with early leadership commitments from AAR Corp., Aon, BMO Harris Bank, Chicago Tribune, CTS Holdings, HSBC Bank, Fifth Third Bank, ITW, The Northern Trust, The PrivateBank and Ulta Beauty. We encourage you to participate as well by completing the enclosed response form at one of the sponsorship levels.
Tickets for this fundraising-event are normally $300. However, thanks to the generosity of UCWBG member Susan Kane, tickets may be purchased for $150. Susan will personally pay the other $150.
What an opportunity to combine a networking luncheon while benefiting a worthy organization!
